Start a Keys week without inventing a sold itinerary.
Each template chains island day kits and real directory listings into a multi-day list on this device. Load the week, then cut, move and rename stops in the trip planner. Templates do not book rooms, boats or park sites, and they do not show live hours. Not sure which skeleton fits the nights you have? Use the trip starter.
How to use a template
A useful week is still short.
Pick the skeleton that matches the drive you will actually make: southbound from Key Largo, an Upper Keys weekend, Key West plus Dry Tortugas, or a Bahia Honda park weekend. The button writes those stops into the trip planner and assigns the day numbers from the template.
Re-open each listing’s source the morning you go. Hours, ferry check-in, campground sites and park parking still belong to the operator. Organic directory order is not sold on KeysCompass.
How to use this index
Read the template that matches where you will sleep and which check-in is scarce.
Load the week into your trip. If this device already has stops, confirm before they are replaced.
Customize days and notes, then confirm each source link before you treat a listing as a reservation.
Practical questions
Before you treat a template as a booking
Where is a loaded week template stored?
On this device, in the same browser storage as the trip planner. We do not keep a copy in an account. Clearing site data removes the list. Use the planner's share link if you want the same stops on another device.
Does loading a template book lodging, boats or campsites?
No. Loading copies directory listings into your trip list. Rooms, ferry seats, campground sites and charters are still arranged on the operator's own site.
Can I change the plan after it loads?
Yes. The planner is the working copy. Change the title, how many days you have, which day a stop sits on, the notes, and which stops you keep.
What if I already have stops in the trip planner?
The button asks before it replaces the current list. Cancel leaves your trip as it is. An empty trip loads immediately.
Is this order a paid ranking?
No. Organic directory order is not sold on KeysCompass. A template is a curated skeleton of existing day kits and place pages, not a ranking you can buy.
