Popular sunset windows can fill early. A flexible lunch or late-afternoon stop often provides the same view with easier parking and shorter waits.
Islamorada (MM 72–90) is the Upper Keys village where waterfront meals and marina mornings overlap. Listed north to south by address, not ranked: Wahoo’s sits above Whale Harbor Marina at 83413 Overseas Highway; Lorelei Restaurant and Cabana Bar is bayside at MM 82 with seating on the beach and deck; Morada Bay is a bayside dining property at MM 81.6 overlooking Florida Bay; Islamorada Fish Company has waterside outdoor seating on Florida Bay at MM 81.5; and Hungry Tarpon is the waterfront restaurant at Robbie’s of Islamorada, 77522 Overseas Highway. Marathon and the Middle Keys (MM 47–60) add bayside and oceanside tables near the Seven Mile Bridge. Listed north to south by address, not ranked: Sparky’s Landing is on the water behind the Fairfield Inn & Suites at 13205 Overseas Highway; Keys Fisheries is a restaurant, seafood market and marina on the edge of Florida Bay at the end of 35th Street, bayside; Lazy Days South is oceanfront at 725 11th Street Ocean (MM 47.3), with an outside patio over the Atlantic, and says it will cook your catch; and Sunset Grille sits at the foot of the historic Seven Mile Bridge on Knights Key, with a large oceanfront deck, a pool and a sandy beach.
